The 2017 National Convention is in the books! Members converged in Washington, D.C. for four days of scholarship, leadership and fellowship. It all culminated on Saturday, August 5th with the 55th Annual Banquet and Awards Presentation where we celebrated the successes of our Members. We would like to congratulate the following Chapters who took home awards this year:

The Dr. Jack W. Outstanding Chapter Advisor Award: Charlin Jones-Chavez of the Epsilon Mu Chapter at the University of Texas at San Antonio
The Steven A. DiGuiseppe Excellence in Administration Award: Alpha Mu Chapter at West Virginia University
The Marder Excellence in National Philanthropy Award: Beta Pi Chapter at the University of Connecticut

The Claude A. Phillips Excellence in Fellowship Award: Gamma Eta Chapter at Florida State University
Most Outstanding Alumni Chapter: New York Metropolitan Area Alumni Chapter AND Capital Alumni Chapter
The Joseph Torchia Outstanding Chapter Award: Alpha Lambda Chapter at Temple University

This year we also presented charters to five new Collegiate Chapters and one new Alumni Chapter. We congratulate the following Chapters on receiving their Charter:

Eta Iota Chapter at Longwood University (Founded November 30, 2016)
Eta Kappa Chapter at Robert Morris University (Founded December 4, 2016)
Eta Mu Chapter at Rowan University (Founded April 29, 2017)
Eta Lambda Chapter at the University of the Sciences (Founded April 30, 2017)
The Greater Boston Alumni Chapter (Founded January 28, 2017)

Lastly, we would like to congratulate Finnian Saylor (Alpha Lambda Chapter ‘18) on receiving the Richard Cecil Todd & Clauda Pennock Todd Tripod Scholarship.
