Alumni Relations Coordinator

Reports to: Director of Alumni Relations & Programming
Status: Regular, full-time, exempt

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • At least one year of professional experience in the higher education, programming or volunteer management preferred
  • Capacity and willingness to travel 20%

Marketing & Communications Assistant

Leads communication in regards to Recruitment and Retention for the organization. Assists with various aspects of periodical and non-periodical publishing activities of the organization.

Reports to: Director of Communications
Status: Regular, full-time, exempt

Job Qualifications: Four year college degree. A minimum of one year experience in writing for periodical and non-periodical activities for an organization. Experience with the following is preferred: HTML, WordPress, email marketing, social media platforms, Photoshop


Lead Recruitment and Retention communications

  • Plan and execute communications for Recruitment-based initiatives, including:
  • Working with Chapters to secure recruitment information
  • Creating Recruitment materials (social media, posters, etc.)
  • Creating and distributing email campaigns
  • Training materials: Create educational and informative content
  • Develop recruitment campaigns

Lead Social Media Presence

  • Work with different departments regarding their social media needs
  • Ensure a robust and active presence on all social media platforms
  • Provide quick and informative responses to inquiries and concerns on online platforms
  • Create comprehensive social media analysis

Assist with writing copy, designing and preparing:

  • Various digital newsletters
  • Blog
  • Email series
  • Social media campaigns
  • Website

Serve as the Assistant Editor of the magazine

Research Chapter/Member for recognition opportunities

Confirm Phi Sigma Pi collateral meets brand expectations and trademark agreements

Ensure that all Phi Sigma Pi publications meet the style guide expectations

Any additional projects or tasks assigned by the Director of Communications

Chapter Consultant

Reports to: Director of Chapter Services
Status: Regular, full-time, exempt

Chapter Consultants are dynamic innovators who offer ideas and insight that benefit the Chapters they serve by elevating them to their greatest potential. As a member of the National Staff, the Chapter Consultant is the bridge that connects Members with resources to help them excel as leaders in the Fraternity.

This opportunity is ideal for those seeking the challenge and reward of working directly with college students and administrators. Visiting college campuses across the country is an added bonus! The Chapter Consultant position is full-time employment with benefits and the opportunity for advancement. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Chapter discussions to ensure each Chapter’s long-term sustainability
  • Coach Chapters to drive effective recruitment and retention
  • Maintain regular communication with assigned Chapters
  • Frequently travel to Chapters throughout the U.S.
  • Serve as a resource for general Fraternity questions and guide Chapter development 
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • At least one year professional experience in higher education or sales position preferred
  • Strong ambition and proven success positively impacting recruitment/retention efforts (within the Fraternity and/or other organizations)
  • Enthusiasm for working with college students and administrators
  • Flexible schedule and ability to travel extensively (>50% annually)
  • Valid driver’s license, safe driving record and reliable, insured transportation
