Sarah Smith, Director of Alumni Relations and Programming accepted the award on behalf of the Fraternity at the 2018 Professional Fraternity Association (PFA) conference held in Birmingham, Alabama. Executive Director, Suzanne Schaffer, presented the award and was also honored for her service as PFA President for 2015-2017.
We would like to take this opportunity to THANK all of our Members for their support of the Leadership Academy program. Participation in the program develops leadership skills, improves our Chapters and ultimately strengthens our Fraternity as a whole.
Of course, we would like to thank and acknowledge our Alumni Volunteers who shared their time, talents and experiences to support and give back to our Collegiate Chapters and Members. Thank you for your continued dedication to Phi Sigma Pi and our ideals.
Thank you to the inaugural 2017 Host Chapters and Members for welcoming us to your campus and for your contributions to the Leadership Academy:
- Beta Chapter, Truman State University
- Alpha Delta Chapter, Widener University
- Beta Rho Chapter, James Madison University
- Gamma Beta Chapter, Morehead State University
- Gamma Omicron Chapter, Auburn University
- Epsilon Mu Chapter, University of Texas at San Antonio
- Epsilon Omega Chapter, Arizona State University
We would also like to recognize and extend our appreciation to the Phi Sigma Pi Foundation for its ongoing support of educational and leadership programming.
As The Ritual reads, "to be a great leader, you must be a well-rounded person and attain a vast storehouse of knowledge, benefiting mankind with its use." To win such an honor in our inaugural year demonstrates the dedication and passion our Brotherhood has for our shared mission of improving humanity through social service. The bonds of friendship, Brotherhood, are some of the most important ingredients in a successful and meaningful life.
Thank you and congratulations on being part of this award-winning program!
