I'm a junior majoring in computer science. I grew up in Milwaukee, WI and moved to Sanford, NC during high school. Phi Sigma Pi has helped me find a group of like-minded individuals on campus. The people within the Chapter all have very similar goals of wanting to help the community around them and grow as people while doing it. Being around people like this has pushed me to become a better person. I am very fortunate for the relationships I am a part of thanks to Phi Sigma Pi. My favorite Chapter event was definitely retreat. Retreat is an event you do at the end of your Initiation semester and it is a great time. You get to play fun games and just hang out with your Initiate Class who you grow super close to over the Initiation semester. I hope you will attend recruitment because I want to share the great experiences I have had through Phi Sigma Pi with others. Phi Sigma Pi has definitely made my college life better and I would love to have more people join this amazing family.

I'm a senior originally from Atlanta, Georgia currently finishing a double majoring in Neuroscience and Religious Studies with a minor in Chemistry. I have found an incredible group of supportive friends through my time in Phi Sigma Pi who challenge me to be a better leader, mentor, student, and friend every day. I have also developed an extensive networking community with other UNC students and engaged in many opportunities for leadership and professional development as well as social service. My favorite chapter events are our Semi-Formal and Formal fellowship events, and I also was able to serve as our delegate to National Convention this past July and met siblings of Phi Sigma Pi all over the country! I highly encourage you to attend our interest meetings and recruitment events if you are interested in broadening your networking community to students of all years and majors at UNC, in taking on leadership positions in an on-campus organization, or just in finding community and new friends during and following the COVID-19 era. I look forward to meeting all of you at our Recruitment events!
