Hello everyone, my name is Chelsea Parra and I am one of the Recruitment chairs for Phi Sigma Pi here at UNC! I'm a senior from Durham, North Carolina studying Environmental Geoscience. Phi Sigma Pi has given me an amazing group of friends and a large supportive community. I joined Phi Sigma Pi my freshman year and I am so glad I did. Not only have I gotten to hold multiple leadership opportunities but I feel that I've truly grown as a person by serving my organization. If you are looking for leadership experience or want to find your place on campus I highly recommend joining us for Recruitment. My favorite Chapter event has been the blood drive we did with the American Red Cross. It has been one of the most successful blood drives on campus and we were glad we could support such a great cause. I hope you'll join us at our interest meetings to learn more about Phi Sigma Pi and what our organization is about. We would also love to see you all at our recruitment events, where you'll get to meet current siblings and engage in fun conversation.

Savannah McCabe, Recruitment Advisor, srmccabe@live.unc.edu
Hi, my name is Savannah and I am a senior from Rockville Centre, NY. I am majoring in English and Psychology and am currently a recruitment chair for Phi Sigma Pi! I am recruitment chair because this organization has given so much to me over these past three years - lifelong friendships, exposure to a unique variety of skills, and a support system and group where I can be myself! My favorite event Phi Sigma Pi does is the Drag Benefit event, in which I got to perform with other Members and raise money for Haven House and the Trevor Project! I hope people will come out to our recruitment because I want to share the amazing environment we have to offer, especially during the time of COVID when we all need community. I joined Phi Sigma Pi to meet people outside of my major, develop my leadership skills, and find a place where I could be my most authentic self and have fun!
