This week is National Hazing Prevention Week and we challenged Chapters and Members to show us and the world "Why We Don't Haze." By using the #pspwedonthaze on social media, Chapters have shared some creative and great ways why they don't haze! Below are some of our favorites.
We at Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity take great pride in our values of Hazing Prevention and how it corresponds with our Tripod of Scholarship, Fellowship & Leadership.
Step up and take the Hazing Prevention Pledge today to continue to fight against hazing every step of the way.
But what does it say?
According to HazingPrevention.org the pledge says,
"I pledge to prevent hazing before it occurs, stop hazing when I see it happening, report it when I know it has transpired, and help empower others to do the same in their organizations, schools, and communities.
I join others to:
- Recognize the harm that hazing can cause both physically and psychologically;
- Condemn the act of hazing on all levels;
- Admonish those who haze and those who enable hazing through their silence, and;
- Be an advocate for the prevention of hazing"
Does that sound like you? Want to sign? Click here! Remember, it's one thing to say that you stand against hazing, it's another to show and tell the world, together!
