National Volunteer Week Faculty Advisor Spotlight: Taeli Turner

Phi Sigma Pi is proud to spotlight Taeli Turner, Faculty Advisor to the Zeta Rho Chapter at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. New to the role, Taeli brings a strong foundation of leadership, mentorship, and student engagement to her work as the Chapter begins the process of re-establishing on campus.

An Honorary Member of Phi Sigma Pi, Turner is committed to supporting students as they work to build a strong and sustainable Chapter. She previously played a leadership role in founding a chapter of another national organization during her undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where she gained experience in recruiting, advising, and mentoring student members.

Taeli Turner

Turner holds a bachelor’s degree in Art and Business Administration from UW-Milwaukee, a graduate certificate in Arts & Culture Strategy from the University of Pennsylvania and National Arts Strategies, and a master’s degree in Arts and Creative Enterprise Leadership from the Wisconsin School of Business at UW-Madison. She also earned a Leadership Certificate through UW’s Center for Leadership and Involvement.

Professionally, Turner serves as the Development and Communications Specialist at UW Madison’s Center for Healthy Minds. She is also the Founder and Lead Consultant of Shea Strategy LLC, a marketing consultancy supporting faith-based nonprofit organizations. Since founding the company in 2021, she has worked with various nonprofit organizations reaching across the United States.

Turner is an active member of several professional networks and advisory groups, including the Wisconsin School of Business Alumni Voice Panel, the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council, the Association of Fundraising Professionals (Global and Greater Madison Chapters), Adobe Research Study Group, and multiple UW Madison committees.

She is currently pursuing a Professional Fundraising Certificate from UW Madison, the Phi Sigma Pi Executive Leadership Program Certificate, and additional coursework.
