Phi Sigma Pi is recruiting achievers that are passionate about developing as leaders and improving humanity through scholarship, leadership and fellowship. Does that sound like you? You're invited to meet our Members and learn about the process of joining Phi Sigma Pi at one of our upcoming events!

Trent Harris, Membership Development Team,
I am a senior, double majoring in Psychology and Human Resource Management. I grew up in Magnolia, TX, and I have three younger siblings. When I came to UNT, I didn't have any connections. I struggled to meet people my freshman year, and I wasn't proud of my growth. In the fall of my sophomore year, though, I met a Member on a bus ride back to my apartment. They spoke about how Phi Sigma Pi was like his family on campus. When I came to the informational meetings, I was amazed with how accepting and kind all the Members were. Phi Sigma Pi let me find friends and made Denton feel like home. It got me excited to give back to the Chapter through leadership, to serve the community. These opportunities have profoundly influenced my life for the better. My favorite Chapter event was volunteering for the Honey Run hosted by the Clear Creek Heritage Center of Denton. Members came together to help coordinate the event, guide people, give information about how to support local honey farmers and benefits of bees for the environment. Our Chapter and Clear Creek had such a positive mutual experience that we decided to elect them as our local philanthropy. I hope you'll join us at one of our upcoming events to meet our Members and learn how Phi Sigma Pi will benefit you!

Jasmine Stone, Membership Development Team,
I live in Denton, Texas. I’m a third year Biology major at UNT. I want to be a middle school science teacher in the future. Phi Sigma Pi has given me the opportunity to be more active in my community not just with volunteer work, but networking with people I don’t think I would’ve met had I not been in this organization. My favorite Phi Sigma Pi event was the Spring 2019 Retreat. I love meeting new people and seeing people get the same enjoyment out of Phi Sigma Pi that I do. It’s like a gift that keeps giving.
