What an exciting time for Phi Sigma Pi at UTSA! 

As you embark on your journey with the Epsilon Mu Chapter, learning about Phi Sigma Pi’s vast history and bonding with the rest of the Chapter, we hope that you are as excited as we are for you to leave your legacy at UTSA. The next few weeks will be crucial to the success of the Chapter and your future as a Scholar, a Leader and a Fellow in our Fraternity. Congratulations on taking the first step toward becoming a Member of Phi Sigma Pi! We are so glad you’re here!


Following the Pinning Ceremony, the Initiates will learn about Phi Sigma Pi's mission, Initiation Program requirements and expectations, and the Anti-Hazing Policy.

Week 1

During week one, Initiates will learn about Phi Sigma Pi's purpose, policies, documents, structure and parliamentary procedure. 

Week 2

During week two, Initiates will learn about Phi Sigma Pi's history, ideals, fraternal songs and the Phi Sigma Pi Brothers' Creed. 

Week 3

During week three, Initiates will learn about University and Chapter history and discuss Chapter policies.

Week 4

During week four, Initiates will learn about Phi Sigma Pi ceremonies, symbols, values, the National structure and National events and programs.

Week 5

During week five, Initiates will learn about Phi Sigma Pi's lifetime membership and Alumni engagement. 

National Exam

Following the final Initiate Meeting, Initiates will take the National Exam.
